Looking for the Best Places to Retire?
Friday, September 1st, 2006
When retirement time arrives, many people choose to retire somewhere that they feel they live and enjoy the rest of their lives. Some choose tropical climates like Florida, some choose to move out West to Arizonia or California.
But retiring and moving to a better climate doesn’t always have to be the only reason. There are many affordable places to live in America, many of them could cut your living expenses in half or more. We posted a recent article titled The Best Places for Retirement. In the article we discuss some of these places and give your ideas for retiring on less than you are living now.
For example, did you know that in 2005 Arkansas was the cheapest state to live in? Or that a large segment of the young people in Wyoming, North Dakota, Montana, and South Dakota are migrating to large cities to find jobs, and the governments are giving tax incentives for Americans who choose to move there.
Retirement doesn’t always have to be about fun and sun. If you have a modest nest egg there are many choices available for great retirement living without breaking the bank.
