Creating a will ranks about as high on peoples to do list as preplanning your funeral. The idea of coming to grips with your own mortality is really not that appealing. As we mentioned, many don’t like to think about their mortality. Add to that the fact that you will have to seek the help of a lawyer, and it is easy to see why people just don’t take the time to create a will. But if you have valuable assets, the only way to assure the distribution of assets is handled the way you would wish them to be you must have a will in place.
